CNC Bender (Sheet Metal)

The CNC Bender is responsible for setting and bending sheet metal of various thicknesses using LVD press brake machines. The role involves operating one 400-ton CNC machine and one 135-ton CNC machine within a CNC tool cell where tools are automatically positioned. The main basic programs are available in the press brake program database.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting up and operating CNC press brake (edging) machines

• Bending sheet metal components according to technical drawings

• Performing interim and final dimensional and quality inspections

• Assessing cut material for accuracy and suitability before forming into required shapes

• Working with overhead cranes when handling materials

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Knowledge and proven experience in CNC edging (press brake operation)

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Experience performing dimensional and quality checks

• Experience working with overhead cranes

• English language skills
