1. Professional Knowledge and Experience
Experience with spray finishing techniques, including powder coating and wet-lacquering.
Surface preparation: sanding, degreasing, filling, and masking.
Finishing and polishing: inter-layer sanding, buffing, and gloss control.
Color and gloss accuracy: precise color matching and finishing on high-end furniture.
Material knowledge: working with wood, metal frames, and combinations.
2. Technical Skills
Operate spray booths, powder coating equipment, and curing ovens.
Maintain and clean equipment properly.
Work according to safety regulations in a dust-free environment.
3. Personal Attributes
Attention to detail and precision: even minor imperfections are noticeable on high-end furniture.
Steady hands and manual dexterity: for accurate spraying, polishing, and touch-ups.
Responsible and quality-conscious: able to work independently and check own work.
Team player: collaborate effectively with designers, colleagues, and production planning.
4. Education and Certifications
MBO level 2–4 (or equivalent) in furniture technology, spraying, lacquering, or similar.
Additional courses in powder coating, HVLP spraying, or wet-lacquering are a plus.
Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, including handling solvents and powders.
5. Desirable Qualities
Experience with high-end or designer furniture is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with RAL/Pantone colors and special finishes.
Patience and precision to meet strict quality standards.
