About the function

For a project in Meppel,  we are urgently looking for two independent and experienced Electrical Technicians (ET). This is a long-term assignment with an expected completion date around April/May 2027.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installing and fitting indoor lighting systems.
  • Mounting and assembling cable trays.
  • Connecting and installing outdoor lighting.
  • Wiring and connecting control panels according to technical drawings

What we need
  • An education at mid-level, preferably in shipbuilding
  • Are you in possession of a valid VCA or VCA-Vol certificate
  • Must be able to communicate with the employee in Dutch or English
  • Demonstrable work experience as a Ship Metal Worker
  • Experience with reading drawings, measuring and marking
  • Experience with tack welding, grinding and burning
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Technician.
  • In possession of a valid VCA certification., NEN 3140 certification 
  • In possession of a valid GPI (Generic Gate Instruction).
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
What We Offer
  • Starting from 600 EUR net per week / 40h
  • Monthly vacation allowance of approximately 130 EUR
  • Health care contribution of approximately 120 EUR per month
  • Total of approximately 2840 EUR net for basic hours per month
  • Transportation allowance of 0.19 EUR/km for commuting with own vehicle
  • Accommodation provided


  • Job security with a project running until spring 2027.

  • 720-740 Eur netto weekly for 40 hours
  • approx. €37 per week – the amount that is sent to your personal Dutch pension account Stipp – This is your deferred money, to which we, as an employer, pay you an additional contribution from our resources
